Ida Petronella Maria Voorn van Sleeuwen
Born:
03-20-1957 in Oss

Irma, a butcher’s daughter, first sat on horseback at a very young age.
She rode the horses, her father bred. Her general love for animals comes from very young. Horses and dogs were near to her heart.
Every week Irma rode in competitions at the N.B.V.R. and later at the N.H.S., where she took part on a national level.

In 1976 Irma married Albert, whom she had met in the stable of horsetrader Tom Olsmeyer, living in Doorwerth. Since then, she has played the leading part in Albert's life: taking care of the family, the horses, and managing the training program for their horses.
It is completely thanks to Irma’s role in the care and training of Lando, that Albert in the year 2000 became Dutch Champion as well as winner of silver in the Olympic Games in Sydney.
As Albert momentarily is working abroad for 7 months a year, Irma is completely occupied with the following of the building activities and the training and caring of the horses present.
